KC's Notes

While beautiful at times, the usual "save the world" plot found in almost all space films these days is dull — and 30 minutes too long. The casting is odd all around with no shining performances and a random Topher Grace sighting. Of course it wouldn't be a Nolan film without the mind-fuck factor, which is wrapped up into a neat little box at the end, leaving you with little to ponder after. Not enough 2001 mystery and not enough Alien suspense/fun. I think I'm just sick of Christopher Nolan.
